1. A. Organ transplants can benefit a lot of people.

B. Everyone is willing to give his body to science after he dies.

D. The question of organ transplants is a new field of modern medicine.

2. A. To make money.

B. To make a contribution to the medical science.

C. To save the patient.

D. To set an example for the medical students.

3. A. They want to save their relatives.

B. They have no confidence.

C. They are selfish.

D. The body shouldn’t be cut up.

The question of organ transplants is a difficult one. Not for me though. I’m quite happy to donate all of my organs for transplants. I don’t mind my body being donated to science after I die. I think it’s much better to be useful even after I die. I would be so happy to know that my heart was used to save someone else’s life. I don’t need my eyes after I die, so it’d be great if someone else could use them to see. Even though I want my body to be used for medical science, it feels a little strange to think that medical students will be cutting me up. I know in other parts of the world there are many people who don’t like the idea of organ transplants. They believe the body should stay in one piece. I hope that changes because doctors really need the organs.

Questions number 1~3 are based on the passage you’ve just heard.

Question number 1: What is the passage mainly concerned about?

Question number 2: Why does the speaker want to donate his body after his death?

Question number 3: Why do many people NOT like the idea of organ transplants?

What is the passage mainly concerned about?(这篇短文主要讨论什么?)

Organ transplants can benefit a lot of people.,觉得表述正确,直接选定 A。

The question of organ transplants is a difficult one.(器官移植这件事是一个有争议、棘手的话题)

前半段:讲述说话人个人愿意捐献器官,愿意在死后把遗体用于医学科研,发挥价值;

Organ transplants are not popular among a lot of people.(器官移植并不被很多人接受),概括了全文的核心观点,能够覆盖整段的正反两方观点(有人愿意捐,很多人不接受),符合主旨题的要求。

B. Everyone is willing to give his body to science after he dies.

D. The question of organ transplants is a new field of modern medicine.
